Midasbet Review

Australian owned, MidasBet is an online betting platform with a quality software program and markets. Launched in July of 2022, MidasBet has skyrocketed to the top of the betting circuit. With some of the best totes on the Australian racing market, MidasBet is a somewhat user-friendly brand that commits to doing right by its punters.

In 2023 they have become one of the top betting sites in Australia.

Who is MidasBet and What do they do?

Following the traditional three-panel layout, MidasBet has a black, white, and red-themed interface. Much like its competitors’ sites, punters can find a content page on the left, upcoming racing and sports stats in the middle, and current sporting and racing matches to your right. The right panel can be replaced by your BetSlip once you become a member.

One thing I struggled with when it came to working with the MidasBet website was trying to find where I can deposit my funds, and access my overall account. There is nothing that is clearly labeled as ‘my account’. After a couple of minutes of confusion, I figured out you can access the ‘my account’ services in the top right-hand corner from the tab labeled ‘deposit & withdrawal’.

MidasBet Markets

MidasBet only made its debut in the Australian market in 2022. Because of their age, we can still see them trying to find their footing and building their portfolio. Knowing this, we can see a solid achievement in their Markets and Odds for a company that is only just over a year old.

MidasBet is heavily focused on racing markets but does still provide a handful of sporting events. Providing about 13 sporting events, MidasBet only provides some of the more popular international and domestic sporting events. They have their most extensive codes in events like Basketball, Golf, Soccer, and Tennis. Punters will also find they have markets in the AFL, Baseball, Boxing, Cricket, American Football, Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Rugby League and Union.

MidasBet also offers; fixed wins, fixed place, best of three totes, middle tote for place, and top fluc.

The MidasBet Sign-Up Process

I encountered an issue when signing up with MidasBet, I was unable to get to the second step of the sign-up process. I do believe, however, that this could potentially have been an issue with my network. However, I was easily able to download the MidasBet app and register for their service that way, it was a quick and easy fix.

The entire sign-up process to MidasBet is very easy and quick. There are two steps to the process. In step one, users will need to provide a handful of generic personal details, and the second step requires them to set a username and password. During the second step of the process, users also have the option to set deposit limits and opt out of promotional content.

Users will need to provide their:

  • Full name.
  • Home address.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Gender.
  • Email address.

Payment Methods

Unlike many competitors, MidasBet only provides one form of payment method to their punters. They can make deposits to their account by entering their Mastercard or Visa card details. This is unfortunately the only payment method available to punters using MidasBet at this current time.

Similarly, withdrawals can be made by entering your banking details. Please note that withdrawals can take anywhere between 2-5 business days to clear depending on your banking institution.

MidasBet has set a minimum $5AUD deposit limit.

Promotions and Features

Access to promotions and features is only available to members of MidasBet. Be sure to sign up now to see what exclusive offers the MidasBet team has in store for you!

MidasBet runs daily promotions across all of its racing and sports markets. They also have somewhat of a loyalty rewards program that is curated to cater to each punter’s preferences.

Please ensure you read all the terms and conditions of the promotions before applying them to your bets.

Contacting MidasBet

You can contact MidasBet via their 24/7 live chat option which can be accessed in the bottom right corner of the page. At this point, MidasBet does not have a phone line that they can be contacted through.

If you are struggling with your betting and feel it is taking a negative toll on your life, MidasBet has also provided the national Self-Exclusion register’s (BetStop) number in their responsible gambling tab.

Punters can also email MidasBet via: support@midasbet.com.au

The MidasBet App

The MidasBet app is their innovation! The app is now available across all iOS and Android devices.

Mimicking the website, the MidasBet app is organized into different categories of sports, racing, next up, account, and BetSlip. The app is arguably more user-friendly than the website, I found that things were labeled clearer and it was easier to access things like the ‘my account’ tab.
