Manchester City vs Southampton

In this match, we have Southampton hosting Manchester City. Manchester City trying to catch Arsenal on the top of the leaderboard. We have a struggling Southampton trying to make it out of a relegation scrap but in this match, I believe it will be an easy win against the Saints.

Manchester City’s

Manchester City is performing wonderfully as they sit comfortably in second place five points behind Arsenal.

The draws are as follows: one draws against Nottingham Forest with the goal scorer being Silva and one draws against RB Leipzig with the only goal scorer being Mahrez.


RB Leipzig is in good form as well this season but they don’t have the best of form in their last seven matches with them only winning three, drawing two, and losing two as well.

The wins are as follows three-nil win against M’gladbach with the goal scorers being Werner, Forsberg from a penalty and Gvardiol as well, a two-one win against Frankfurt with the goal scorers being Werner and Forsberg and a three-nil win with the goal scorers being Forsberg, Laimer, and Szoboszlai.

The draws are as follows: a one-one draw with Manchester City in the first leg of the round of sixteen tie in the champions league with the goal scorer being Gvardiol and a nil-nil draw against Köln and now the losses are as follows: a two-one loss to Union Berlin with the goal scorer being Henrichs and a two one loss to Borussia Dortmund with the goal scorer being Forsberg.

Manchester City has only two injuries so far but they are in two important positions with one being their main goal scorer Haaland and their young starlet winger Phil Foden. Haaland suffered a groin injury on the 21st of March and his return is doubtful at this moment finally Phil Foden has an undisclosed injury and will return late this month.

Southampton Player Injuries

Southampton has five injuries so far with the injured list being as follows: Bella-Kotchap he suffered a dislocated shoulder and will return mid-May, Che Adams suffered a calf injury and will return in a few days, Larios suffered a muscle injury and is out for the rest of the season, Salisu suffered a knock and returns in a few days and Livramento he suffered a cruciate ligament injury and will return late this month.

The main players in form for Manchester City are mainly Haaland and De Bruyne, Haaland is the brightest goal scorer for Manchester City this season with his goal tally being at a whopping twenty-eight goals already this season he is on record to beat the premier league most goals in one season record anytime now. He also has an expected goal rate of a whopping 20.14 which is the highest in the team this season and Kevin De Bruyne has an expected assist rate of 11.43 as he already has twelve assists this season. Both Haaland and De Bruyne look to add to their goals and assist tallies. But sadly Haaland is out with a groin injury and will possibly miss this game
