Predictions

In this game, we have Newcastle United hosting Manchester United at St James’ park. Both teams looking to stay in the top five and Newcastle looking to crack into the top four and qualify for Champions League Football.

This game I believe will be a draw and or possibly a narrow win for Newcastle United or Manchester United who knows?

Newcastle United

Newcastle United’s last seven games are as follows: two wins, two draws, and three losses.

The wins are as follows: a two-one win over Wolves at home with the goal scorers being Isak and Almiron.

A two-one win over Nottingham Forest away from home with the goal scorer being Isak twice.

The two draws are as follows: a one-all draw against West Ham United with the only goal scorer being Wilson and a one-all draw again against Bournemouth away from home with the goal scorer being Almiron.

Three losses are as follows: two nil loss to Liverpool, a two nil loss to Manchester City and a two nil loss to Manchester United in the EFL League Cup Final.

This is the recent run of form for Newcastle United and they are up in fifth place trying to become a top-four club and compete for trophies which I believe will happen in the near future.

Manchester United

Manchester United last won five of their last seven only losing one and drawing one.

The five wins are as follows:

A two-nil win against Newcastle United in the EFL league cup with the goal scorers being Casemiro and Marcus Rashford.

Their one draw came to Southampton ending in a nil-nil draw and their only loss comes to the hands of Liverpool with it being an absolute belting by Liverpool beating Manchester United seven nil.

Manchester United Injuries

Manchester United has four injuries these injuries are as follows:

Anthony Martial suffered a hip injury back in January this year and will return in a few days.

Christian Eriksen suffered an ankle injury back in January this year and will return late April this year.

Donny Van de Berk suffered a knee injury and needs surgery on it so that puts him out for the whole season.

Raphaël Varane he suffered a muscle injury this month and will return in early April.

Casemiro is suspended after their last game against Southampton when he got red-carded these players are very important players but they have been doing alright with the players they have at their disposal right now.

Newcastle United

Their main player that is in form is currently injured and that is Miguel Almiron is the top goal scorer for the team.

The next best player will have to be their English right-back Kieran Trippier with the highest overall rating in the team it is 7.81.

He also is the highest player on the team when it comes to assists as well with them being at five and that gives him an expected assist rate of 7.87 which yet again gives him the highest expected assist rate in the team. He is the man in form if Miguel Almiron wasn’t injured.

Manchester United

The player that is in red-hot form for Manchester United is Marcus Rashford. He has scored fourteen goals this season in the premier league and has an expected goal rating of 10.42. Which is the highest in the squad so far. He has been impressive all season and he looks to keep on adding to his tally as well this season.

Portuguese Midfielder Bruno Fernandes he is also in red-hot form as he looks to add to his assist tally with an expected assist rate of 6.72 he looks to set more goals up for the likes of Marcus Rashford and Wout Weghorst as well.
