Josh Mansour is an NRL player who has played on the wing for South Sydney Rabbitohs. He has left the team and has been spotted in the offseason training at the Bulldogs. He is 1.83 cm tall and weighs 98kg which is heavy for a winger. We still tip him as a great NRL player.

Josh Is Looking For A New Team

At 32 years old he is hunting for a new team to play for. Bulldogs coach Phill Gould has commented, “that he might sign Josh Mansour”. Mansour has history with the Bulldogs coach.

Josh Mansour NRL History

Josh has played in State Of Origin and has also represented Australia. He is a dynamic player who plays the game hard. He has struggled with injuries during his career and also has struggled under the high ball.

Josh Turns Down Offer From The NSW Liberal Party

Josh being off contract was offered a position with the NSW Liberal Party. They wanted him to run for the seat of Kogarah. Looking for a bit more publicity they thought Josh would be the perfect match for their relection hopes. But Josh Mansour still wants to play football and is not ready to retire.

This Is What Josh Had To Say

“I want to focus on my young family. I also still believe I have something to offer in the NRL. I’m not giving up hope of continuing my career. I’m training hard and holding out hope that an opportunity in the NRL will present itself.”

Josh On Leaving South Sydney

Josh made it public that he felt burned by coach Wayne Bennett who dropped him from the starting line up at South Sydney Rabbitohs for player Jaxon Paulo in the second round of 2021. So we are pretty sure Josh won’t be approaching Wayne Bennett for a spot at the Dolphins. We believe Josh still has some good football left in him and we wish him all the best for 2023.
