Penrith Panthers Australian Rugby League’s Team Dynasty
The Penrith Panthers have won three back-to-back NRL Grand Finals Premierships. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 the team dominated the NRL winning all three Grand Finals.
In 2023 the Penrith Panthers made it into the Grand Finals for their fourth consecutive appearance in an NRL premiership.
The Teams History
In 1967 the Penrith Panthers were added to the NRL’s list of professional Australian rugby league teams. In their first season, the team came second last in spot 11.
The Penrith Panthers since then have become a powerhouse rugby league team in the NRL. In 1985 the team made its first finals appearance. In 1988 the team made its first Grand Finals appearance and lost. In 1989 the Panthers made its second Grand Finals appearance and won their first NRL premiership.
Team Colors
The Penrith Panthers team colours are black, red, green and yellow. This was the initial club’s choice of colours when first introduced to the NRL in 1967.
In 1974 the club changed its colours to a stripped, brown, white and black combination. Then in 2017, the club resorted back to its original colours.
