The Parramatta Eels look set to having a great 2023 and a real hope to breaking their NRL premiership drought. With 13 wins and nine losses, they just missed out on being 2022 premiers. Finishing 2nd on the ladder with moments of looking like they were going to win the premiership.
After getting into the grand finals the Eels lost. They faced the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs. The experts were critical of the Eels in 2022 due to the lack of consistency and a high number of mistakes. Defense and discipline are needed to win a premiership and it just was not there in 2022.

We believe he will be instrumental in 2023, but the team needs to start playing like a team. The coaching staff needs to start cracking down on training and install a bit more discipline in the team. Dropped balls and missed tackles need to be reduced heavily for the Eels to win in 2023.
Mitchell Moses and Dylan Brown have been hot topics of discussion. Both of these players are key players for 2023. There were rumors that the Eels may be losing both of these players that have not yet been confirmed or denied, and for now, are just rumors.
Toafofoa Sipley is looking forward to a great season in 2023 he is injury free and reportedly looking great in pre-season training.
